We celebrated the boys' birthdays together in style. The decor was Power Rangers (his mind changed several times, but it always came back to Power Rangers), and we had a big Moonwalk delivered to the house for the kids to bounce around in. This was the first time we had a "friends" birthday party and it was very exciting for both Evan and Elliot.
Right after everyone sang Happy Birthday, Daniel Farace (little boy in red shirt just to the left of Evan) blew out Evan's candles! Evan did manage to get the last two out.
Jared Berkovsky, Evan, Alex, Nicolas and Daniel Farace, Tyler Scott, Josh Berkovsky and Elliot. Where was Kate when this picture was taken?? We'll just have to Photoshop her in!
We rented a moonwalk and everyone loved it. The people actually set it up for us on Friday night and we did a little "pre-party" test to make sure it passed muster. Boy was it fun. Saturday morning while I was doing the dishes, I heard the sprinklers come on in the back yard which could only mean one thing: they had already been on in the front yard! I open the door to see the moonwalk drenched with water. I had to blow it up and let the sun dry it out. Again, the boys got in and played for a while before the party started.
They really enjoyed playing in Brian Hall's Lincoln Truck. We were "truck sitting" for Brian while he was in Dallas for a few days. We went riding with his sunroof pulled back and played "Superman" by Five for Fighting about ten million times. That's one of the boy's favorite songs.
The boys were the recipients of some 50+ year old blocks from Kim's Grandmother (affectionately known as "G.G." to the boys). Here is a picture of the boys enjoying them.
This picture is especially for Gran!! He was teething bad that day and I couldn't resist but to take a picture of ourselves. Couldn't you just eat him up?
