We took a "mini" vacation this past weekend in Corpus Christi. We wanted to attend the Fullness of Truth Conference being held there over the weekend, so we rented a condo on the beach and I took off half a day Thursday through Monday. The drive down wasn't too bad. In all it took us about 4 hours to get there.First of all the lady renting the condo gave us a free night on Thursday, so that's why I took off half a day Thursday, so we could take advantage of that. When we get there, we are so amazed at our view of the beach. I mean we were right there on the beach. And it was a NICE beach. No seaweed, no trash. The water was green...not brown! We were thrilled! The weather was great. It was pretty windy and the skies were partly cloudy most of the weekend, but I still managed to get a sunburn on Sunday while building sand castles.
We really fell in love with Corpus and we are going to try to go back this summer. More pictures of our trip are below.
